StartUp Partners organizes 2-hour advisory lunch sessions between alumni and local Harvard-affiliated StartUps. The program is jointly sponsored by the Alumni Association and the HBS Alumni Angels Association to support‚ entrepreneurs and provide alumni an opportunity to expand their network and learn about the latest venture ideas. The sessions are in depth discussions, not investment pitch sessions, and solicitations‚ are not allowed by the StartUps.
If you are interested in volunteering or are an‚ entrepreneur‚ looking for quality advice, please contact Phil Rettger, Program Manager of HBS StartUp Partners, at email@example.com
We would like to invite you to join an HBS Alumni Forum in Northern CA. Forums have been dubbed "The Secret Advantage of Successful Leaders" and facilitate continuing and meaningful development for leaders through experience sharing with a peer board of directors comprised of your fellow HBS alumni. An Alumni Forum is composed of 8 to 12 HBS alumni, matched by criteria such as organization size and level of responsibility, who meet monthly in-person for exchange and discussion. Topics and issues are as varied as each Forum's members and may range from the effect of the economy on one's business to the challenges of relationships to finding a healthy work/life balance. Each meeting follows a preset "protocol" which unlocks new ways of listening, learning and sharing that have valuable implications for participants.
We currently have openings in some our existing groups as well as a desire to launch new ones if there is enough demand. To be considered for membership, please complete a brief online profile by Friday, May 13. There is no obligation to join and the information you provide will enable AFS to determine which Forum would be a good fit for you. You will then be sent additional information on the program and your next steps to join. For more information, please visit www.alumniforumservices.com or contact Beth Marchessault at Alumni Forum Services at firstname.lastname@example.org.
