HBS Social Enterprise  An initiative at HBS to build the field of social enterprise, including research, conferences, newsletter, and publications. Resources include faculty research/white papers on topics including nonprofit strategy, management and performance, and strategic philanthrophy and social capital markets.

Bridgespan   Founded in 2000 and incubated at Bain, the Bridgespan Group brings Bain's leading-edge strategies and tools to the challenges and opportunities facing nonprofit organizations and foundations. Excellent knowedge base of downloadable case studies, articles and papers.

Bridgestar  An initiative of the Bridgespan Group, Bridgestar is a web-based source for senior level nonprofit jobs, nonprofit executive search services and knowledge resources in the nonprofit sector. Also has a monthly on-line newsletter, Leadership Matters, with useful articles. 

Boardsource  Comprehensive selection of material on nonprofit governance, including a large selection of books and CDs. CP is a member.

Stanford Social Innovation Review A subscription based on line and print publication of the Stanford's Graduate School of Business Center for Social Innovation that offers the best ideas in nonprofit management, philanthropy, and corporate social responsibility. Free weekly on-line newsletter.

Stanford ACT Program CP's counterpart at Stanford. Operates in a similar manner with the exception of two fixed cycles for projects.

Taproot Foundation  Offers pro bono consulting assistance to nonprofit organizations, primarily in information technology including website development, branding, and HR programs. Consultants are recruited from across various business sectors. Taproot has locations in the Bay Area, New York City, Boston, Chicago, Seattle, Washington DC and Los Angeles.

CP now offers two new opportunities to get involved with the Bay Area community -

Scholarships for Bay Area Nonprofit Leaders

Each year HBSA/NC through its Community Partners program offers scholarships to Bay Area Nonprofit leaders to attend an executive education program in nonprofit management held in Boston in July.
