Hike & Picnic Lunch at Picchetti Ranch

Organized by the HBS Women's Initiative.

Enjoy a relaxed, guided hike in Picchetti Open Space Preserve in Santa Clara County before arriving at Historic Picchetti Winery for a picnic lunch and optional wine tasting. Hike approximately 2.0 miles from the trailhead to the winery, where you will pass oak, pine, and eucalyptus trees.  We will also see fern choked streams en route to the vista point over looking San Jose, before arriving at the winery.  Upon arrival at the winery, we will enjoy a delicious picnic lunch on the grounds, with additional hiking opportunities available afterwards, as well as optional tasting opportunities inside the winery.  At approximately 2 pm, we will head back to the trailhead and arrive at our vehicles by 3 pm.

This hike is suited for anyone who enjoys the outdoors and will allow for plenty of time for socializing, picture taking, and exploring the preserve.

Hike starts at 11am
