Jeanne Crossan Robinson HRPBA’57, has been Human Resources Manager of Bechtel National Inc, in San Francisco for the last 8 years, and prior to that was Human Resources Manager in Oakland, CA for Kaiser Engineers for 23 years. She has been involved in hiring and placing Engineers worldwide on projects in every major industry. The rewards have been that not only has it provided the challenge of learning a variety of different technologies, but also that the quality of life for the people around the world was improved when they were completed. Jeanne was President of the Harvard Business School Club of Northern California (first woman) from 1972 to l974, and then became Vice President of the Harvard Business School Executive Council in Boston in 1978-82. Additionally, in 1996, she was the Social events and Spouse/ Guest Chair for the HBS International Conference in San Francisco. Other Non profit activities included being on the Stanford Alumni Executive Council, a Regent of the University of Santa Clara and winner of KRON-TV’s Best Club Publicity award.
