HBSA/NC is kicking off a new breakfast series targeted at founder led companies, family owned businesses, mid-market companies and their respective advisers (bankers, lawyers, etc.) and investors. The topic for our first event will be the recently enacted H.R. 3606, also known as the JOBS Act. The JOBS Act gives private
companies new and expanded options for accessing the capital markets. We will discuss highlights of the
JOBS Act and the associated changes in the securities rules that govern private and public capital raises by
companies. Lastly, we will cover compliance and reporting related items that companies, their advisers, and investors will want and need to understand.
